Mauro Scatozza has spent decades developing a style built around feel, dynamics and the song. His playing combines acoustic and electronic drums, bringing together precision, energy and a strong sense of musical structure across live performance, recording and original music. Over the years, that approach has taken him from clubs and studios to international stages, festivals and some unforgettable places around the world.

1999 - present

Touring and recording drummer with Canadian rock band The Last Supper. The band has performed at numerous prominent venues and festivals around the world, including:

• The Great Pyramids of Giza, Cairo

• Cairo Jazz Club

• Bospop, Holland

• Cannabis Cup, Amsterdam

• Venues throughout Canada and Europe

tenth planet

2007 - 2009

Joined Tenth Planet in 2007 and toured Holland and Belgium in support of Jeff Martin of The Tea Party. Performed on the band’s sophomore studio album, Everything Is Never Over.

2017 - present

Solo work combining acoustic and electronic drums, synths, samples and original music into a live performance built around rhythm, sound and improvisation.

First solo performance debuted in 2017, expanding the drum kit beyond a traditional role and into a complete live musical instrument.
